Spring snowfall while getting ready for the Passy River race to be held Saturday, April 7.

As a youngster growing up in Maine I was nearly killed white water rafting on a cedar log raft with my brother.
The experience made me wonder about the physics involved, and I came up with a theory that was never tested.
If a person strung a rope across a river and snapped a tow line to that, perhaps they could put on water skis, maneuver out to the middle, and ski in one spot from the power of the current.
