Those straight cuts of those alders could have only been done by a human. \u00a0That trail is too wide and level to have been made by an animal. \u00a0The irregular waterways cutting through the marshlands\u00a0surrounding Basin Pond must be a vestige of the geological history of the area.<\/p>\n
These are the things I believed. \u00a0Now, I am no longer so sure.<\/p>\n
